Sr. Saudah Mirza (SunniPath Outreach Manager) writes:
Don’t forget that this weekend is our conference Living Islam on Campus, which is the first-ever exclusively online conference for college and university students around the world (high school students and any other students also welcome!). The themes of the conference are balancing activism and spirituality, and protecting our deen on college campuses while remaining active members of the Muslim student community.
I’ve just had a chance to review the slides for the event, and it’s made me even more excited about listening to the presentations.
For example, take a look at the fascinating slides for Session 1 with Shaykh Hamza Karamali, providing an in-depth analysis of the famous hadith of intention.
The slides for session 2 with Shaykh Faraz Rabbani cover: 1) planning to be a ’successful believer’; 2) four steps to success, and 3) eight practical keys to success.
And Ustadha Zaynab Ansari’s slides break down community life into a discussion of family life, religious life, and campus life; and delves into dealing with differences and etiquette in interpersonal relationships. Finally, MSA National’s COMPASS will be doing two practical management training sessions.
It’s not too late to register, and I really hope to see you all there. Registration is only $15, and we encourage you to watch in groups. For more details and to register, click here.
